But when I became a man, I put away childish things. 1 Cor. 13:11. Far too many Christians are immature in their walk with the Lord and their relationships with other people. In 1 Corinthians 3:1-4, Paul chides the believers for their carnality. The same exhortation can still be given to many believers today. We must understand God’s intense focus and desire to bring forth a unified Church full of mature believers. That is His ultimate goal, and it will never change. We must be a people who are growing up and coming to maturity. Do not let anything, or anyone, stop you as the Lord does His work of maturation in your life.
