Just like a fine meal is prepared by following a particular recipe, so those who desire to receive revelation from the Lord must also be prepared for it. You cannot simply live any way you desire and expect to receive revelation. You must submit yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to work in your heart and mind as part of the process for receiving revelation.
