We learn from our Jewish Roots that the family, not the Church, is the center of spiritual growth. The Lord Jesus, Paul, and all of the original Jewish disciples grew up with this understanding. For the first few centuries of the Christian era, this truth was what made the Church so strong. When we move away from this central and vitally important truth, the Body of Christ is greatly weakened. When it is restored, the Church will focus on her main calling; maturing disciples who can fulfill the purposes of God.
